Ezekiel's Call
2 And he said to me, (A)“Son of man,[a] (B)stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” 2 And as he spoke to me, (C)the Spirit entered into me and (D)set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. 3 And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to (E)nations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. (F)They and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. 4 The descendants also are (G)impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’ 5 And (H)whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are (I)a rebellious house) (J)they will know that a prophet has been among them.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Apostles
7 (A)And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. 8 He charged them to take nothing for their journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts— 9 but to (B)wear sandals and not put on two tunics.[a] 10 And he said to them, “Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you depart from there. 11 And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, (C)shake off the dust that is on your feet (D)as a testimony against them.” 12 (E)So they went out and (F)proclaimed (G)that people should repent.
